You are not broken

... despite everything the marketing tells you, you are not broken

You are not broken. It may feel that way, when the slings and arrows of the world cut and sting you. But really you are always completely whole.

Life sometimes feels full of storms, wild and dark. At other times it feels like a summer garden, gentle and soft. And we mistake this to mean something about ourselves. If life is going swimmingly then we pat ourselves on the back for our cleverness, and if life is hard then we think someone is to blame, and often that is ourselves.

And when life is heavy and dark and difficult, the modern paradigm, the message from the marketing gurus, seems to be that we need to get something from outside ourselves to fix it or ourselves.

But is this true?

Perhaps the answer you seek is already within you.

Perhaps all you need is time and space to let what is inside you emerge.

Those thoughts that rattle your brain - are they just asking to get out?

Those emotions that tighten your belly, race in your heart, are they trying to tell you something?

They might be telling you an old story that is no longer true, giving a false picture of who you should be, need to be or already are. Or they might be warning you that something around you isn’t right. Or something simply needs tending, holding, allowing space.

Only you can know which it is.

The wisdom you are looking for is inside you.

But how can you connect to that wisdom? How can you hear what those thoughts are telling you? How can you name the feelings so that you can sense the message they carry?

Well, you could try meditating. That can settle the nervous system and give space internally.

Or you could try free writing - let your pen spill the thoughts onto the page.

Maybe you could find someone who will listen, without judgements, without giving advice or trying to fix things for you. Someone who will listen while those thoughts and feelings come out, to be seen and heard.

In Circle we co-create the beautiful conditions for this to happen. We have the time and space, in comfort and warmth where you can find your inner wisdom. In Circle we know that you don’t need fixing, so no advice is given. In Circle we know that you just need to be held, to be heard, to have time and space to let your thoughts and feelings be known, whether you speak them or simply sit with them.

But don’t just believe me. The women who come to Circle say it too.

“I found the circle a safe environment to say exactly what I am thinking and feeling without judgement from anyone, so thank you as i don't think I would have that opportunity without the space you created”

“Weirdly, something I really loved was sitting & listening & connecting with what the other women were saying, but feeling none of the pressure to respond or “fix” or offer advice. It was so nice to just meet them where they were & sit there with them. And I loved the idea that we could find our own solutions/healing rather than needing external input. “

Come in dear one. Rest. Connect within.
